Outlook
Up some maybe --- A gale pushed from Japan over the dateline Fri-Sat (2/4) with 34 ft seas, faded then redeveloped off Oregon on Monday with up to 34 ft seas. Swell arrival late on Wednesday. Another small gale developed  right behind tracking from the dateline to a point just north of Hawaii with 34 ft seas late Mon (2/6). Swell buried under residual swell from the previous system on Thursday. And yet another gale is forecast in the Central Gulf early Wednesday (2/8) with 30 ft seas offering more swell for Friday. Another strong system is modeled tracking from the dateline east through the Central Gulf Sat (1/11) with 44 ft seas offering something for next week if one is to believe the models. The Active Phase of the MJO continues to try and make limited eastward progress offering some fuel to continue the storm cycle for the next 2+ weeks.
